Referrals are required for anyone who receives household items and furniture.

Referrals can be from housing authorities, social service agencies, or other agencies.

 

Ask your social worker or case manager to complete our online referral form and schedule an appointment.

Your referring agency will fill out our client referral form and we will confirm an appointment date and time with them.

 

Before your appointment, you will need to make arrangements for picking up items and bringing them to your home. Please arrive on time for your appointment. A maximum of 2 people can enter the building for the appointment.

 

If you are sick, please stay home and we'd be glad to reschedule.

 

You can reschedule only once, and only one lifetime visit is allowed per client.

 

Please keep in mind, furniture is provided based on availability, and there may be a wait list of 72 hours, up to 3 months. You are encouraged to reapply after the 3rd month if you have not received furniture.

For general questions, call 562-432-1440. Once your referral is processed, we'll confirm a date and time for the appointment by email. Please let your client know of the appointment, and ensure they are prepared with a vehicle for picking up large items.

Please have your clients give advanced notice of cancellation or reschedules. Clients are allowed only one reschedule, and only one lifetime visit.
